I’m a Hoosier artist with plenty of Irish in my family. Proud to be near this historic Tipperary Hill neighborhood. The legend goes that the Irish immigrants that moved to this area, couldn’t handle seeing the British red sitting on top a new traffic light that was installed. So, they “took care of it” with rocks faster than the city could fix it. They finally got it right and put the Irish green on top where it belongs.
